- I originally created this blog to help me document the steps leading up to my missions trip to Thailand, the actual trip itself and my thoughts afterwards. But, I decided to continue my blogging because I enjoyed it so much. I'm hoping that this blog will give you some laughs, but also that it will give comfort to those who think that they are the only ones who are afraid to try the unknown and that it will open your eyes to the strength God provides in your weakest moments and when you think that you can't do something, you're right- but, God can. If He can do something with me, then He can (and wants to!) do absolutely amazing things through your life too...if you'll just hand the steering wheel over to the One who can take you there.

Thanks for the kind words about my experience this morning. You had it so right...she and I were both near the church for a reason. God wanted me to find her and her to find Him.
The friend that drove up and called her husband was a very nice man. He thanked me for being a Good Samaritan, not that I did anything extraordinary...but it also made me think of the Bible story of the Good Samaritan.
Anyway, as I left the scene, I continued my run and just prayed for her for quite awhile as I jogged along!
I won't forget this morning for a long time!!!
